Mission Statement
To assist members in professional development, create training opportunities, and facilitate opportunities for minority business owners to strengthen the position of minorities in the transportation industry within the Central Texas region.
COMTO Austin is a local affiliate of the national Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO). The COMTO Austin Chapter encompasses the Central Texas region in and around Austin, TX.
What We Do

Support Initiatives to Advance People of Color
The primary purpose of our organization is to identify and overcome the barriers to advancement for people of color.

Provide Scholarships
Our Chapter supporters contribute toward an annual scholarship program, as part of COMTO National’s nationwide program, to support women and people of color pursuing education related to transportation careers.
